A portrait of a great artist who never stops living with music in his head. With Felix creative power and endless inspiration, the film brings you into the universe of pure Music, from electronic music, to radio play, pop, music concrete, opera, and microphone performances… Felix is the little Nemo of a new sleepless world of music and pure joy!
Plongeons amoureux dans le monde surréaliste et loufoque du prince allemand de la musique électronique contemporaine, Felix Kubin. Bienvenue dans la tête d’un corps musical qui orchestre le rythme de sa vie et du film. Portrait d’un artiste sans frontière musicale, Felix fait manger des microphones à des chiens en Slovakie, promène son Korg MS20 dans les rues de Hambourg, compose un opéra avec orchestre symphonique, enregistre les sons des bouches d’aération des quartiers industriels pour ses compositions, improvise avec sa fille sur piano, synthétiseurs et casio, chante sous l’eau et dans son bain, plonge dans la fiction des rêves et cauchemars qui hantent ses chansons.
Felix est le Petit Nemo de Hambourg, d’un monde sans sommeil, musical et d’une joie infinie!
